The Best Workout is the One You Will Actually Do

I used to think every workout needed to be an event.

It had to last an hour.

I needed to drive to the gym.

I needed the “perfect” workout.

If I couldn’t do all of that, I’d convince myself it wasn’t worth doing at all.

The problem?

I was setting the bar so high that I’d end up skipping the workout entirely.

Eventually I realized something that changed the way I looked at exercise.

The best workout isn’t the hardest one.

It isn’t the longest one.

It isn’t the one that burns the most calories.

The best workout is the one you’ll actually do.

Some days that’s an hour in the gym. Other days it’s a 20-minute walk. Maybe it’s ten minutes of bodyweight exercises in your living room. Maybe it’s stretching before bed because that’s all you have time for.

Every one of those counts.

One workout won’t transform your health. But hundreds of workouts you almost skipped?

Those will.

That’s why I don’t chase perfect workouts anymore.

I chase consistency.

Because consistency is what changes your life, not perfection.

Remember…

Hardest Part: Start™️.

Jorge
